1950's Custom Heather Blue Pin Stripe 2-Piece Skirt Suit 10-105
This becoming unlined custom made suit has lots of hand work and interesting details. The fabric, appropriate for year round wear, is heather blue rayon/cotton suiting fabric with narrow 1/4" wide red stripes. The bracelet length sleeves have 2" wide turn back cuffs. The front closes with four 3/4" diameter buttons with self rims and gold textured centers below the narrow shawl collar; hand worked button holes. Slanted pocket bands are found on the bias. There are curved princess seams in front and double fitting darts on the back. The front of the jacket hangs rather loosely, so we show it belted. There are self belt loops. It would also look good with your navy belt. The red belt is not included. You may want to add fitting darts to the jacket front. The metal side zipper on the flared four gore skirt has been expertly set in by hand.
