 1940's WWII Styling Reddish Brown Wool Jacket Skirt Suit

This is a nice example of trim 1940's WWII tailored styling in dark cinnamon brown wool twill. The jacket with shoulder pads has high wide pointed lapels. A single brown button closes at the waist. There is a small high pocket and two lower ones with bound openings. The front has darts and a side front fitting seam; the back has a mid back seam. It is lined with dark olive brown dobby weave rayon twill. The skirt has a cloth covered side brass side zipper. The front and back are each a single panel with darts in back. There are 7" long, 2 1/2" wide pleats at each side seam bottom.
