1930's Floral Print Silk Chiffon Afternoon Dress 10-204
A charming and floaty silk chiffon afternoon dress with a misty print of peach, pink, and red flowers with gold centers and light blue leaves on a pale tan background. A cowl neckline reveals the ecru lace yoke of the attached pale pink silk under dress. The bottom edge of the lace yoke is outlined with lustrous pink cording. Short double flared sleeves add to the flutter. At the hip level is a bias cut flared panel with a rounded top which wraps around the front and back side hips. Mid front and back is a flared panel with a double pointed top. There are belt loops, but no belt is provided. The side placket closes with snaps and a hook and eye. At the under dress hem a band of pale ecru scalloped cotton lace.
