 1960's Carillon Tailored A-Line Navy Wool Knit Coat Dress

This tailored wool heavy double knit and semi fitted navy colored coat dress has a slightly flared A-Line skirt. It is enhanced by color and interesting details. The front placket below the tunnel neckline with diagonal buttonholes bound in red buttons closes over four red and white buttons. The split cuffs on the long sleeves are lined with red and close with a matching button. A 4" wide mid front pleat is below the placket. The back has a center back seam. The dress is shown with an included red plastic belt, or you could accessorize it with your own navy colored belt or a narrower red belt. Very Good condition.
There are several inconspicuous darns each less than 1/4" long at the upper back left neck, perhaps where a scarf was pinned, one on the lower front hem edge, and one on the lower front skirt. These were darns to repair breaks on the surface of the knit. There were no holes.

Measurements: 37" chest; 34" waist; 42" hips; 17" sleeve length measured from under arm seam; 15" upper mid back sleeve seam to sleeve seam width; 43" mid back length; 54" bottom circumference excluding 4" in pleat.
