1950's Carlye Lace Overlaid Dress & Stole

The fine textured pale aqua cotton sateen fabric in this dress has so much body it does not need petticoats to show off the full flared skirt to emphasize its early 1950's look. The front and back surplice neckline is higher in front. The front bust section and upper back has an overlay of matching cotton lace over a a fitted inner bodice with 1/2" wide self straps. There is a 7" wide horizontal lace band on the upper skirt and a 9" wide band at the bottom of the skirt. A metal side zipper opens at the under arm. Included is a 8" wide, 72" long bias cut fabric stole with a 1" wide band of lace 16" from each angled bottom. (Image available upon request.) Label: Carlye.
