  1940's Hart Schaffner & Marx Heavy Black Wool Overcoat 10-339
The heavy black wool coating fabric in this black overcoat has some mohair content giving it a slightly frosted look softening the black. It has raglan sleeves with 2 1/2" wide turn back rounded notched cuffs and medium width rounded lapels. It closes with three 1" diameter black composition buttons. 9" long by 8" wide patch pockets have 2 1/2" wide rounded flaps. The front and sleeves have black rayon twill lining; the upper back has a half lining with a hanging loop. There is an inner upper right chest pocket. Label: Hart Schaffner & Marx, New York, Chicago.
