|1970's Jessica's Gunnies Neo Victorian Ruffled Lace Blouse 3-107
This long sleeved blouse with lavish use of white, off white and cream colored lace and ribbons is a fine example of designer Jessica McClintock's 1970's neo Victorian designs. The blouse is made of fine white cotton polyester blend fabric. The 2" wide neck band has two rows of ribbon and a scalloped lace edging. The front and back V shaped yokes have a white cotton lace appliqué. Below the yokes, outlined with two rows of lace, are heavily gathered 5" wide cotton dotted net floral edged lace. Long tapered puff sleeves have three rows of lace at the sleeve bottom creating a cuff effect; ribbon and scalloped lace edge the sleeve bottom. The center back yoke closes with cloth loops over lustrous cream colored 3/8" diameter buttons. The bottom of the blouse has a straight machine hem. The variations in color highlight the decorative details. Label: Jessica's Gunnies, San Francisco, Hand Wash Separately 13, 35% polyester, 65% cotton, cotton lace, rayon ribbon, nylon lace.
