1950’s Dressy Coat 4-416

Not sure of the decade of this classic style coat, since the National Coat and Suit Industry recovery Board label was used from the late 1930’s into the 1960’s. This fawn beige coat is of light weight birds-eye weave wool. It has a peachy taupe rayon crepe lining. No overlap, no closures. It has a built in rounded collar/yoke which turns into a dart at the shoulder front. Vertical welt pockets, dart detail on back. Label: Rothmoor and National Coat and Suit Industry Recovery Board
