1920’s Underpants 6-515

Flared underpants from the 1920’s, often called knickers. They are made of cotton lawn, a smooth, plain weave, almost sheer fabric. They open at the front with a shell button at the waist and another one midway on the placket. Square inset crotch and roomy rear. The leg bottoms have 1 1/4" machine embroidery and hemstitched scalloped edgings.

Excellent condition.
1 1/4" slit has been repaired at the side of the crotch.
