1960’s Letterman Jacket 7-323

Show off your high school athletic ability, or at least your boy friend’s jacket. Black wool coating fabric body, cream colored leather sleeves. Slanted pockets piped with leather. 2 1/2" wide ribbed knit collar, 3" wide cuffs and bottom each with an orange stripe. Closes with seven heavy duty black snaps. 7" by 4" orange wool chenille letter "I" on upper left chest front. Lined with gray rayon twill. Hanging loop.

Excellent/Very Good condition.
The body of the jacket is in excellent condition. Some grunge on leather sleeves despite being to the dry cleaners twice. A 1/2" wide slightly heart shaped ink “doodle” on upper right shoulder adds to its charm. A 3" diameter stain on upper right lining and slight discoloration on lining side fronts.

Measurements: 46” chest; 19 1/2” underarm sleeve length; 20” upper mid back sleeve seam to sleeve seam width; 25” mid back length; 42” unstretched bottom circumference.
