Hand Knit Natural Wool Sweater 7-329
This heavy hand knit sweater with a high shawl collar appears to be an unlabeled Cowichan sweater. These sweaters become favorites because they wear forever, are warm and naturally shed water since the yarn retains natural oils. The colors of the wool yarns are the natural colors of the sheep from which it comes. On this sweater, the geometrical design on the body and sleeves has a creamy white band with three rows of brown motifs then a row of lighter gray brown wool, then a white band with brown and linked triangular bands, then a light brown band, then four rows of a brown and white design. The bottom of the sweater has 3 1/2" wide ribbed band. The front closes with a very heavy silver colored separating zipper.
