1980’s Plus Size Trench Coat 7-404

This trench coat has classic styling and details descended directly from Thomas Burberry army officer's raincoats designed for the UK War Office in the early 1900’s. This well tailored coat is dark army green with dark gold undertones in a soft heavy rayon peach skin type fabric is water repellent. The high pointed collar has an under collar tab. The double breasted front closes with six 1" mottled matching buttons. An under button helps keep the over lap in place. The over lap can also be buttoned high under the collar. Slanted welt pockets; belt loops. Slightly dropped shoulders with 3" by 2" shoulder straps. 1 1/2" wide sleeve straps held in place in loops fasten with brass colored D rings on 14" wide sleeve bottoms. Mid back seam with 25" long box pleat. 78" long, 2" wide self tie belt. Richly colored dark brown attached rayon twill lining. Label: Drizzle, made in USA, size 12.

There is a 1 1/2" repaired vertical tear below the top button on the left side is not visible when the coat is belted.

Size: Large - XXL. The label says the coat is a size 12, but you can see it is very large and generous on this size 20W dress form.
Measurements: 54” bust and waist; 56” hips; 17” sleeve length; 21” upper mid back slightly dropped sleeve seam to sleeve seam; 51” mid back length; 82” bottom circumference including pleat and 7” overlap. Remember: allow about 4" of ease beyond your actual measurements so the coat will fit properly over your clothes.
