1950’s Coat with Back Detail 7-405

A warm wool A-line coat in a becoming dark dusty baby blue color and style. One of our color charts appropriately calls this color “winter sky.” The wool fabric may have some mohair content because the brushed surface has some luster. A high rounded collar buttons with a perforated metal button with a rhinestone center. The collar can also be worn unbuttoned. The center front closes with four slightly concave composition buttons of matching color. Self bound buttonholes. Slightly slanted welt pockets. Natural shoulders; modified dolman tapered sleeves; dropped shoulders and armholes. Rounded back yoke has 6 1/2" inch long stitched side pleats. Center back seam. Gray blue rayon satin lining. Label: “Marvelous” loomed exclusively for Dumas.

Size: Small/Medium. Relatively narrow shoulders despite the generous sounding measurements.
Measurements: 44” bust where sleeves join side seams; 46” hips; 12” sleeve length from dropped armhole; 9” wrist circumference; 42” mid back length; 66” bottom circumference. Remember: allow about 4" of ease beyond your actual measurements so the coat will fit properly over your clothes.
