1960’s Wool and Reindeer Hair Butte Knit Vest 8-103
Yes, you read it right -- reindeer hair with wool in a black and white birds eye weave double knit vest. The Butte Knit Company, a division of Jonathan Logan, began in the early 1960’s. Vests like this are not only warm, but they give a finished look to a shirt and pants or skirt. The arms eyes, neck and front edges, buttonholes and rounded decorative pocket flaps are bound in black. It closes with four 3/4" diameter two piece metal buttons placed low on the vest for a double breasted look. Label:
