1940’s Face Framing Blouse 8-116
Dusty peach tan blouse is made of slightly textured rayon crepe. Long puffed sleeved are gathered onto 1" wide cuffs. The high pointed collar and cuffs are edged with 3/8" wide gathered ecru cotton lace. The shallow pointed front yoke has two rows of gathered lace. There are gathers below the yoke and front and back fitting darts. It buttons down the back with five 1/2" incised mother of pearl buttons. A similar button is on each cuff. The bottom is stitched and pinked so there is no bulk or line when it is tucked in.
