1980’s Pendleton Suit 8-117

Everybody needs at least one cheerful red suit. This classic tailored style is made of scarlet colored wool flannel of the usual high quality you can expect from Pendleton. It has long notched lapels and rounded jacket bottoms. It closes with three 3/4" diameter enamel gold rimmed buttons with a small gold crest in the centers. The jacket has a 4" wide welt upper left breast pocket and 5" wide lower flap pockets which are still loosely sewed shut. The jacket has a mid back seam and side back and side front fitting seams. Both the jacket and skirt are fully lined with red polyester fabric. The skirt has a 1 1/4" wide waistband which closes with a button. The left side front pocket is incorporated into the overlap; there is no zipper. On the right side of the skirt is an inseam pocket. The one panel skirt front has slight side gathers; the back skirt has two panels, also with slight gathers and a 7" long, 2" wide walking pleat at the mid back bottom. Jacket label: Petite Pendleton, Trade Mark Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. Pendleton Woolen Mills, Portland, Oregon, 100% Virgin Wool, Made in U.S.A., Size 6. The same label is in the skirt.
