1950's Jeanette Alexander Strapless Cotton Sun Dress 8-213

This white cotton muslin strapless sun dress has a curved front fitted bodice with princess seaming and a full flared circle skirt. There is an enclosed boning stay on each side bodice and a metal side zipper. The dress probably originally had a jacket or bolero which is now gone. Wear with a pretty sweater, summer shawl or shrug or your own bolero. Show off the full skirt with your 1950's petticoat (not included). Designer Jeanette Alexander worked with her mother Peggy Hunt of shoulder pad fame, who was an early post WW2 California designer and manufacturer. Label: Jeanette Alexander of California.
