1960's I. Magnin Tailored Dress with Matching Scarf and Belt 8-235

This well made detailed dress is of medium lime green colored slubbed rayon linen weave fabric. The bodice has short dolman sleeves with fitted under arm gussets and a deep V neckline. The mid front bodice closes with two 1 1/4" slightly convex four hole novelty composition buttons which are slightly darker than the fabric; self bound buttonholes. Gathered above the waist on the front and back bodice. The below waist mid front placket closes with a hidden plastic zipper. Loose side pleats on the two panel front skirt. Fitting darts on the two gore back; in seam pockets. Seams are taped in the skirt. The skirt is lined with matching colored fine weave rayon. A 3" long pleat is at the bottom of the mid back skirt. 1 1/2" wide shaped self belt with a square buckle. A matching 6" wide, 32" long rayon chiffon scarf is included. Label: I. Magnin & Co.
