It is hard to believe that this utilitarian undergarment evolved into the glamorous teddies of the 1930's. Great for your collection, cool and comfortable for a summer house garment, or for night wear. This modest one piece garment is a combination camisole and knickers entirely sewed by hand. It is made of white dimity, a semi-sheer fabric with a small check woven pattern. It has a sleeveless drawstring neckline with a cream colored silk 1/4" wide draw string ribbon. A 7 1/2" snap placket is at the top mid front. The crotch closes with two pearl buttons.
