1910's Nightgown
8-525

Cool, roomy, comfortable nightgown that is pretty enough to wear as a dress. It is made of fine weave light weight muslin. The short sleeves are cut in one with the gown. The scalloped edges of the high round neckline and sleeve edges are finished with very fine hand worked button hole stitches. A 1/4" wide light blue silk ribbon is the drawstring for adjusting the neckline. At the top mid front is white on white hand embroidery and drawn work. Machine hemmed.
