1910's Long Maroon Wool Tailored Skirt with Patch Pockets 9-113
Wearable, stylish tailored skirt is made of light weight dark maroon colored wool faille. The front is shaped with panels above the 5 3/4" by 6 1/4" patch pockets. It has no waistband; it is constructed on an inner waistband of petersham, a construction technique of the 1910's. It closes with a side placket with hooks and eyes and five snaps. The one piece back has three rows of gathers at the mid back waistline. A 1 1/2" wide, 33" long separate self belt fastens with a snap.
