1930's Art Deco Black Rayon Dress with Diagonal Skirt Panels
9-224
This sophisticated heavy black rayon crepe dress has a graceful flared skirt made with curved and angled skirt panels. The deep U peek a boo bodice front neckline has a higher U back that is filled with black flocked net. The fill in is edged with narrow black velvet ribbon. The bodice closes with a single velvet button at the upper back neck. The straight cut bodice has long sleeves with an inset pointed bias band near the wrist. The skirt has a deep pointed front and back yoke. Below it are angled hip bands which flare to form a mid front and back panel. Flared triangular panels are on each side skirt. The side placket closes with three snaps. It has belt loops, but no belt is provided; we like it without a belt.
