1940's Heavy Black Worumbo Wool and Mohair Overcoat

The heavy black wool coating fabric in this classic overcoat has some mohair content with white hairs on the surface to lighten the over all color. It closes mid front with three black composition buttons; adjustable sleeve tabs have two smaller matching buttons. It has shoulder pads and slanted pocket bands. The 3/4 rayon twill lining has a pocket on the right chest. Labels: Luxora, Exclusive Fabric by Worumbo, Reg. U.S. Pat. Off., Highbrooke tailored Expressly for Hibbs Clothing Co. New England Worumbo Mill produced quality woolen fabrics.

Measurements: 44" chest; 17 1/2" sleeve length measured from under arm seam; 17" upper mid back sleeve seam to sleeve seam width; 44" mid back length; 50" bottom circumference excludes overlaps. Remember to allow about 4" of ease beyond your actual measurements so the coat will fit properly over your clothes.
