This medium weight dark navy wool twill coat has the fine fabric and crisp tailoring details of service uniforms although we are unclear for which branch. The double breasted coat closes with 10 black composition buttons. The coat buttons in either direction. A tab on each raglan sleeve cuff has two matching buttons. A buttoned tab is under the rounded convertible collar. The wide belt with a black composition buckle has a belt keep on each side and one in mid back. Banded pockets are slightly slanted. There is a 13" long vent in the bottom mid back which can be kept closed with a loop and button. 
The lining attached to the coat is black rayon twill. The almost full length zip out lining yoke is black rayon twill open under arms for ease in movement. The fabric under and below the yoke is black wool flannel. Label: 10R.
