1920's White Cotton Flared Knickers/Underpants 9-505
A fun cool sturdy loose garment to wear, to display or for your collection. These white cotton lawn underpants have 1" wide waist band which closes with a 1/2" diameter pearl button. Midway on the front placket is another button; hand worked button holes. The bottoms of the wide flared legs are edged with 1 1/4" wide scalloped machine embroidered edging. Because of the flare they are bias for easy fit across the hips; no side seams. French mid front and mid back seams. There is an unusual square inset crotch. The back is very roomy, read baggy.
