1900 STYLE Sun Bonnet A-027
A very attractive flattering version of a sun bonnet. It may have been made for the 1776 Bicentennial or for a reenactment. Gold colored small scale print cotton percale bonnet can be unsnapped to be washed and ironed flat. The lined rounded brim is stiffened and stitched. The circular crown fastens onto the brim with 7 snaps. A 7" long band snaps on each side to control back fullness creating a back flap which shades the neck. It ties with two 1 1/2" wide and 17" long ties.
