Calico Slat Bonnet A-040
This bonnet is of a very small scale overall cotton calico floral print in gold, navy blue, medium blue and orange on a white background. The double brim has 8" long, 1 1/2" wide inner pockets in which cardboard have been inserted for stiffness. They can be pulled out for laundering. The lower back has an open section drawn up by a drawstring to control fullness. The back fullness is further controlled by 20" long 1/4" wide ties to form a wide neck ruffle. Under the chin inner ties are 13" long and 1 3/4" wide.
