1940's Anastasio Beaded Mule Style Slippers with Nature Motif A-052
Open backed closed toe slippers have a 1 1/2" tall slightly shaped heels covered in dark aqua colored velveteen. The inner soles are of dark aqua green felt. The curved 3" wide toes are completely covered in clear, yellow, gold, green, rose and dark red colored beads in half moon, floral and leaf designs. The toe of the shoe is lined with red cotton. The heel lifts and leather soles appear to never have been worn. Label: The sole is stamped Anastasio Tan and SAN-----(illegible) with 2 bells lightly incised into the leather, 42.
