1960's Joseph Magnin Rolled Brim Black Velour Hat A-055
The luxurious black velour fabric of this hat is so lush it resembles fur. The hat has a round crown with a 1 1/2" wide black grosgrain ribbon with a flat tailored bow on the left side which is obscured by the 3" wide rolled brim. The inner band is 1" wide black grosgrain. Labels: Selene body made in Italy and Kay & Guy Anderson, New York, Joseph Magnin, 22. Joseph Magnin, son of I. Magnin, had his own group of high end women's stores in California and Nevada which closed in 1984.
