1930's Toddler's White Cotton Ruffled Batiste Dress C-050
Very fine almost sheer white cotton batiste dress with cap butterfly sleeves is gathered onto a round yoke. Very fine gathered 1/2" cotton machine lace is applied to the high round neck, across the shoulders, and around the sleeves. Wide scallops of lace are around the bottom of the skirt 7" from the skirt bottom. Double fabric below the scallops gives weight and balance to the dress. There are gold satin stitch roses and light yellow daisy embroidery on the sleeves, on the front and back yoke and above the scallops on the skirt.
