1930s Soaker C-063
Before suffocating rubber pants or the later plastic pants to cover diapers, there were wool knit soakers. They were used into at least the 1940’s and until disposable diapers became available for babies that developed terrible rashes under rubber or plastic. They were comfortable for the baby because they did not feel wet or cold and clammy when wet. Use for that big baby doll or for display. These are knit of cream colored wool in a flexible stretchy knit with a drawstring waist.
