This attractive, informative 8 1/2" by 11" 32 page stapled booklet was printed in 1955 by the Irish Linen Guild of Canada. Each page is illustrated with photographs, both in color and in black and white, and with drawings and illustrations, most in color. Sections include: flax and its processing into cloth, weaving, dyeing and printing, household uses, table linens and settings, bed linens, towels, apparel, religious linens, laundering and care and more. An especially useful section is on types of linen handkerchiefs. A fine addition to the library of a fabric lover.
